Handling

Featured Replies

Hey guys just had New suspension top mounts(inc bearings), lower arms, balljoint, trackrod ends and discs and pads, the car no doesn't give any confidence!! Its seems to be really stiff and if you are pushing on in the bends and hit a tiny bump seems to jump across the road.

I never looked under the car before having them fitted but when I look since they have been done the wishbones seem to be slooping up hill if u know what I mean? usually ive seen wishbones are higher at the subframe end than the hub end? any ideas?

Have you had the alignment checked since all the work was done?

That's exactly right - check how the balljoints have been fitted to the ends of wishbones - ontop or underneather ?

Yeah had it 4 wheel aligned? It was a garage that fitted the balljoints so would thought they just put em the same as they came off?

The ball joints are also handed, seen a garage put them on the wrong sides before

Thinking about it, If they're the standard pressed ones, the balljoints slots into them iirc (rather than sitting ontop as per R32 cast)
