Hi, my name is Mence (I know! it's an odd one).

Currently driving a VW Scirocco TDI 170 but for a number of reasons now need to change her for something a lot more practical but hopefully a bit of fun too.

I need an estate because of my two gorgeous Greyhounds but don't want anything too 'normal'.

So, I'm off to my local Skoda Garage tomorrow to talk VRS, I will report back on progress...

Welcome to Briskoda, Mence. Octavia II or III, and petrol or diesel?

Hopefully a 3 Denis, Diesel and DSG because the wife will need to drive it occasionally and has a dodgy hip.

My local dealer has a brand new Meteor Grey one but not sure if I can stretch to it, looks awesome though! :-)

My Octavia II has loads of boot space for my 2 Staffies. I would hope the Mk 3 has more.

By pure chance, the salesman in our dealership is a Greyhound owner too, he runs a Mk3, an Elegance and has no problems with two Greyhounds larger than ours so we should be fine.

It looks like the VRS they have is a decent spec, pan sun and some other bits and pieces.
