Rear Windows not working and passenger rear door not unlocking

Featured Replies

Looking for some advice to help diagnose a problem.

Firstly the passenger rear door is not unlocking. Regardless of key, remote or in car

Passenger rear window does not go down using remote, button in rear door or drivers door

Driver rear window goes down using remote and drivers door but not treat door switch

Only fist I can see that is linked to this is the 40a one. That's ifI have read the fuse map correctly. However this also controls other elements that are working

Might not be related but also the interior light is not going off when I start the car it is when I lock the car

Any tips or ideas appreciated

First thing to check is the wires to the door in the rubber grommet as you open it. If it can be opened that is?

It certainly sounds electrically related and it may also be the link from front to rear doors, so suggest checking the wiring grommet in all doors.

In the end it was the rear window motor. Evidently on same circuit as the lock and stops both working.

Quite how Danny the mechanic got the rear door card off with the door locked closed I don't know but he did.
