Just put a pipercross cone on..

Featured Replies

Strange. Would of thought the higher boost would cause it from a map. Mine does it when you lift off or change when its at high boost arounf 2.5-3k not up higher revs when the boost drops back off.

Yeah my mate told me how you try and make the chatter, but i guess you probably need a decat.. i have got a piper catback with no boxes but i guess the cat stops it for some reason

Mine chatters a good amount..

I don't think it's to do with the exhaust to be very honest!

Ah right :/ id like it to chatter to be honest..

Exhaust wouldn't make a difference. Mine doesn't chatter high up the revs as Joe said it's mostly around 2.5 - 3 k rpm! Catch it right and it's very loud.

Mine currently sounds a bit like darth vader and its not mapped. Will be saturday though :)

Thanks jase, thought it was maybe a pipercross one with the foam off :)

Looks good that, any chance you could somehow fit it in your current air box to prevent heatsoak from the engine?

Do they do a different colour too?

Some places offer a different colour. But its an oem filter. i went for this over a branded filter as in my head its better. Its a paper / cotton filter. And honda wouldnt have put something on the s2k that didnt filter properly. And it costs 18quid off ebay :)

Excellent value for money.

it won't fit in the airbox. It's massive this thing. I was stuck in traffic earlier. Proper stop start stuff and I didnt notice any heatsoak, maybe in the summer I might? But ill work on something for then :).
