What for though? The chances of a road car having a smash at santa pod are slim. They'd be better watching the various chavy car shows through the year incase anyone spanks and tries to claim they were on the road at the time.

Yes, read the whole post though, It's rare that a drag car crashes at santa pod, let alone a 200bhp road car, you'd have to do something special to manage to crash in a huge wide lane doing less than a ton. Track days at shows would be better (Ford Fair, FCS etc)

Oh indeed it will be rare, but it still happens, and I suspect on "run what you brung" there will be a few cars that were pushed a bit too hard and die. These would be excellent candidates for a bonfire later. "Honest guv, joyriders must 'ave nicked it and torched it".

 

You'll probably find reps from the insurance companies would be at most events, although they're hardly likely to advertise it ;) ;)
