IT DOES A FULL FACTORY RESET, you have to re-pair it to the car, set all your default mile/km, degrees C or F etc

 

then it returns to normal Skoda Navigation splash screen

 

you will also need to re-pair all your Bluetooth devices as well

 

new software update for main OS from 7.11.22 to version 7.13.9 (179mb download)

 

it warns "Please note: Your previous settings will be lost" to make note of any additional settings like alerts etc bfore you update

 

when the device reboots the unit with new software,

 

splash screen now says, Navigon a Garmin brand ??

 

details in top left should be

then it updates Bluetooth firmware

 

BT h14423-v2r31

 

reboots again

 

maps and safety camera updates appear to be intact, so it is only a firmware update / reset

 

 

 

I did one recently, it was ok afterwards apart from the paring the phone back up, tried about 3 times, gave up then next day 1st time.

 

Not sure if this is the latest you are mentioning will check though.

only posted the reset warning so people can make sure they have time and are prepared to re-pair all the devices, or have someone around to help

 

music on the SD card is left intact as well, so it is just a reset / re-pair

 

but any changes you made to make it warn for safety camera's or other changes to defaults in menus will need to be reset

 

also look like you may not be able to update maps etc until you have updated, but as I have updated I can't confirm this

I have just been used navigon fresh to download the update you mentioned and it says mine is up to date with version 7.10.25? Do you have a newer version of the PID to mine?

a few changes we have noticed, main one being to mute the navigation announcements you now have to push the mute icon then another one , as you get the option to mute , up volume , down volume

Owens, mine is also the older Navigon unit, and it says up to date version 7.10.25
