Abs/esp and tyre pressure lights

Featured Replies

Hi, having these lights come on for around 10 seconds every now and then, it seems to happen when turning, I originally thought the roads must be a bit slippy but it also happens in the dry.

Lights go out after around 10 seconds and it drives ok, would this be a faulty sensor?

Happy new year

Especially not a rusty ring thingy in your hub!!

When mine was replaced (on my car I mean!) it was referred to as a wheel speed sensor.

If you do make that phone call..................please record it !!

Just call it the ABS sensor ring they'll know what you mean.

It's part of the hub on VAGs so you need to change the hub to fix it. Does cost a bit I'm afraid. I've had to do both rear hubs this year due to the same fault.

If you're lucky it might just be the sensor but looking at the age of your car I'd guess it's the hub ring.
