I don't have vagcom so I can't check this I need to find Somone who has vagcom in my area that is kind enough to do this for me

What fuel are you using?

Recommend running a full tank of Shell V-Power through it and see if it picks up at all.

You could try cleaning the maf sensor. When I replaced mine the performance was restored. Mine felt a bit flat for ages.

Kevvrs,

It will be a good idea that you get a inexpensive Generic Vag Com OBD cable and download free VCDS LITE so you can scan your Skoda computer for troubles codes.

Is a piece of cake.............. You can get the Generic VAG COM OBD Cable like this:

http://www.solostocks.com/venta-productos/equipamiento-talleres-parkings/equipos-diagnostico-ecu/cable-vag-com-obd2-kkl-vag-com-409-diagnosis-6278915

Then you download FREE VCDS LITE and thats it!

Due to a biblical downpour on the Motorway my MAF sensor & air filter became soaked, air filter change improved the car by 80% but still had a hesitation on acceleration. It turns out that the MAF sensor was not providing the correct readings, due to the amount of salt that's in the spray, no amount of cleaning would cure it so I bit the bullet & fitted a new one, Bingo, the cars going better than ever and the fuel consumption is back in the high 50's, Car has done 145000 miles and the acceleration is now 100%.

Funny u should say that I have a cai and it gets soaked on the mway from spray and rain I've had to put a cone filter with sides covering the cone only a halfords one but it keeps the spray out a bit but I suspect the maf has bin exposed to water salt so I might just replace it for peace of mind . I have restored a bit of lost performance the hoky puk jublee clip had sliped cheap one I surpose air was comin in the side I blew done the catch can hose and heard it hiss so new clip and she's flyin again and the DV is loader but still gonna change the maf it's the only sencer I ain't changed thanks anyways
