can you retro fit sat nav & bluetooth?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Complete nooby here...

Im due to pick up my Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI CR vRS DSG on Saturday which unfortuntaley doesnt come with Bluetooth.

I was wondering if there is anyway in which I could install it and get the buttons on the steering wheel and dash to work? I dont really want to have to fit a Bury or Parrot kit etc if I can help it.

Also sat nav would be a plus... I think this is a new head unit through right?

Please could you throw some ideas at me before I end up hacking up the dash with aftermarket kits...

Thanks in advance, and sorry if its a repost.. :(

See HazzyDayz Ltd . They do OEM retrofit. Good website

Eddie is the retrofit guru on this and most other sites!

I used these guys to retrofit a columbus sat nav, Bluetooth phone kit and voice control and they did an excellent job and provided a full three year warranty on it all.

That said there are lots of people on here who have the knowledge to guide you on doing it cheaper

Did you get this done?  I'm looking to retrofit the Bluetooth also, so any help would be greatly appreciated :)

do a search, there have been lots of threads on this.

i bought a fiscon kit, essentially the same as oem, plug and play with bolero or columbus.  oem parts are cheaper option.

retro fitting a columbus is also very easy, just 4 torx screws and an external gps puck somewhere under the dash - you need vcds (laptop) if you want it to display on your maxidot but that's not essential IMO.

The garage actually fitted me a kit before I picked it up.  Not 100% happy with it but it'll do for now :)
