Thinking of selling yellow octavia

Featured Replies

Hi people, I am currently thinking of selling my yellow octavia mk1, it has a few issues and its m.o.t. runs out end of next month, the bodywork is clean no rust patches, however its '52' reg 195k sdi that needs the rear passenger door deadlock fixing and a rubber bush on passenger front end. Its a basic car but its never let me down however I bought it when my last car blew up (peugeot), and dont the time to fix these issues, question is is it worth selling or just taking to the scrap yard,

Break it for parts people always need spares bud make a few more Quid Than just scraping it.

Cant fix it just want to sell it tbh

Stick it on eBay.  It's a diesel, so someone'll want it and you'll get more than you would if you scrapped it.  People buying a cheap diesel couldn't care less about non-functioning door locks and knackered bushes!

Oh, and start it low, get people interested.  If you're really brave, start it at 99p no reserve - you'll get loads of people bidding then!
