Hi....I have fitted an aftermarket stereo into my Fabia and the stereo is working but the only catch is.... when i remove the key out of the ignition it erases all the stations/time that i had preset........can anyone please help??

you need a permanent live feed to the radio, dont know what unit you have but there will be a wire on the rear of the unit which the permanent live feed connects to.

Once you turn your radio of this live feed will hold the stations in the memory. hope this help a bit. 

Your missing the permenat live do u have the correct adaptor

Stereo will have 3 live wires running to it

Permenant live, for memory ect

Ignition live, turns the sereo on at same time as car which yours is only running on

Lights live feed, for stereo night mode

As far as what wires what in the car, and what wires what on the stereo, no idea,

Multi meter will tell u what wire is always live and what wires become live when ignition and lights are swiched on

The stereo should have a sticker that tells u what's what

might also be worth checking fuse 10 (5A) for the S-Contact.

Right folks..............problem now sorted The red and yellow wires needed to be swapped over I knew it was something simple..........Thanks for the suggestions
