I've got to say that their production engineering is fantastic.

 

I was amazed, in one sequence, at the delicacy and precision that the robot manipulated the floor pan sub-assembly prior to aligning it to do just one weld. 

 

Must be worth a trip round there.

I went on a factory tour there in 1992 when they were making the MK 3 Golf.  It's well worth a visit.
