Wheel and adapter question

Featured Replies

Hi all, Im thinking of buying some nice wheels for my octavia in the next few months, BBS or OZ, have not decided which yet. Im not gonna keep my octavia forever, though for at least another 2 years and my next car will be an A4 quattro estate or a mk2 VRS estate. Obviously spending that much money on wheels i'll want to take them with me and put them on either the audi or octavia. I think that the audi's PCD is 5x112 so can i buy adapters to get the wheels to fit if i buy 5x100 PCD to fit my current octavia? And are they safe?

Also does anybody know the PCD of the mk2 vrs?

Many thanks.

Mk2 vrs is 5x112 et51

Don't know of any off the shelf adaptors that go 5x112 to 5x100 but there are plenty of different size adaptors that go 5x100 to 5x112 so you could do like Lloyd and buy some 5x112 wheels and use adaptors to fit them to the octy and then when you change cars they will be direct fit onto the new car, just check the offsets are good for the octy with the adaptors taken into account aswell as a good offset for the future car :)

Ears burning :D

Yeah i did that mate, bought 5x112 et50 genuine bbs ch's

Then ran 20mm bolt on adaptors

Was gna use them tgen on a mk5 r32

plan failed tho lol

£1200 and i'll sort u some yummy black ch's ha ha

Use H&R tho as my theory was its the adaptor holding your rim on so go the best :)

G23 engineering are also gods in the adapter world
