Featured Replies

Hi all,

is it possible to obtain the last mileage that the service indicator was reset at on a mk1 octavia with VCDS at all?.

I need to check this if poss on my friends octy, as he has lost his service book and cant remember if last service was done in january or april last year.

Many thanks

Phil.

Didn't think so. Does store how long been driving with mil though

Yes you can, on the sri reset it gives days since last reset, also miles since reset.

Agreed with smileonimpact, it does give days and miles.

Just a quick question, checked his car with my VCDS today and got the information back as said above, so thanks for that, but the mileage is displayed in kms, and there is no option in the drop down menu to change to miles.

Is this correct?, his car is the same year as mine, a 53 octavia vrs, and is a uk registered vehicle. In the manual that comes with my cable from ross-tech, it shows a piccie of the sri reset and lists change to fixed intervals - miles, but all i have is change to fixed intervals, no mention of miles or kms.

Is there a way to calibrate to mileage in another module that cascades to this screen at all?.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Phil

Yes it is correct.  All internal parameters are dealt with in mks system used by the Germans.  These are not scalable to other measuring systems.
