Wheels size on my Rapid

Featured Replies

Hello everyone on the forum. Are new here and have just one question.

I am looking for summer wheels...

And would like to have 18 "on the wagon

Will this fit: 18x8 ET35 or will they poke out?

Can I go 18x8.5?

Someone who might have a picture of 18 "on Rapid

On the pic. My car whit 15" vinter choes.

I just tried 18's and they didn't fit - you can do it 18x8 et35 but need 215/35/18 tyres.

I didn't fancy that as the roads here are bad and car is firm enough on 215/40/17's.

Do you have a pic. of the car whit 18" Was it ET35?

I thought it would look good with 18 "But the best running characteristics are enough at 17"

Yes definitely et35 - users name was bossfox - if you search this section for yellow peril you will find the car and wheels :)

Thanks for the info on the thread, very useful reading.

To me it seems as if the tires bringeth outside edge of the screen.

Do you have any idea whether it can run with 8x18 ET45 would put the rim better?

What do you recommend 17 "or 18"

It will sit 10mm further in so it should be better.

Up to you - 18's look great but 17's ride better. Personal choice :)
