Lambda sensor fault

Featured Replies

Hello all!

What a great forum this is with much activity and knowledge :)

My Octy 2.0 AQY has had problems with the emissions and i have changed the following parts.

New lambda sensors (both of them), the Air flow meter, the engine temperatur sensor, and finally the Catalyst due to that was all gone inside.

I then got it through MOT inspection no problems.

But afterwards it has come up with these fault code occationally.

Faults

16518 - P0134 O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank1-Sensor1
No Activity Detected, 35-00

It can some times drive some 100miles with no motor lamp lit.

Can it be the Lambda sensor that is dead as i changed it some months before the Catalyst?

Thanks!

The wiring to the pre-cat sensor is faulty.

pin 1 -> +ve in loom

pin 2 -> ECU pin 27

pin 3 -> ECU pin 25

pin 4 -> ECU pin 26

The ECU pins are on 52-pin connector. There are no intermediate connectors - the wires go direct from the sensor connector to the ECU. Disconnect both ends and do continuity tests
