Hey bud,

I have heard your the guy to talk to about suspension so wanted to ask you for price and advice.

I have a MK1 Fabia VRS, Standard!

Looking to drop it at the end of feb, but would prefere to use springs and shocks as if i put coilovers on i'll just drop it to the deck! lol

looking for 40mm on the back and 50 on the front,

I have a set of 17" to put on it but obviously i dont want to stick the rubber on the rims till i know what i have to work with.

can you source me a suitable kit for less than £200-250?

Cheers

Chris

Morning,

The the drop you want the only option is coilovers.

The lowest springs and shocks kits would be the H&R 40mm/35mm and Vogtland 40mm but these aren't specifically for the VRS only so you'd see the msot 30mm/25mm from the H&R and 30mm from the Vogtland.

Unfortunately both of these kits are also over your £250.00 budget.

For an option within the only kit would be the AP but you'd only get a 25mm drop from these - http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/ap-25mm-lowering-springs-shocks-suspension-kitbr-fabia-6y-rs-19tdi-1000-p-5395.html

Would it be worth going down the route of getting custom springs made? or is it just not worth it?

Would i be able to source half decent coilovers within the budget?

This isn't a track car but roads round here are line ralleycross! lol

Afternoon,

I'd say custom springs wouldn't really be worth it and could end up costing quite a lot.

We have the likes of the JOM, FK AK Street and Prosport coilovers all within your budget and all are popular kits and offer good value for money.
