*Feeler* Fabia vRS 56 Plate - For Sale

Featured Replies

This is very much a feeler thread at the moment as we/I am not too sure what to do with this car.

The reason for the slight quandary is that due to the cars mileage (see below) we cannot add an Approved Used Warranty to the car. So our thoughts are; stick it on a faceless auction site or pop a brief thread on here to see if someone who may appreciate the car more would find it a new home.

The car itself is as follows:

Fabia vRS 1.9 TDI - Registered Jan 07 (56 Plate) in Corrida Red with 1 owner from new.

The car has covered 167,000 miles with Full Skoda History (I believe all but one stamp being by us).

I have just checked over the car and to be fair to the previous owner he has looked after this very well. The seats, from new, have been covered with no signs of wear to the bolsters.

The car has been used up and down the M11 every day for the past 7 years, hence the mileage, but there are no excessive stone chips to the car.

As said, this is only a feeler so descriptions at present will be brief.

The car is due in on Saturday when the thread will be updated fully included pics.

Price for the car would be £3,000.

Any comments chaps please fire away or if anyone is interested please drop me an email (see below) or telephone 0208 534 0981 and ask for me.

The Fabia has just come in to me, pics below (albeit a tad dirty). Service history wise is fantastic, it's had that many services it has 2 books.

As you can see from the service history, this car has been very well looked after and has just had a new MOT and service a couple of days ago.

Overall the car is in very good condition for its mileage but has picked up a couple of war wounds along the way. These have been pictured, but are as follows - the usual fading spoiler, cracked foglight, o/s bumper has a couple of scuffs and the n/s mirror has a scuff.

The alloys would need refurbing but by no means are anywhere near the worst I have come across.

I can get some more pictures etc on Tuesday when I am back in the office, but any questions please drop me a PM or email.

Just about run in then   Sure someone snap it up GLWS

As there was a bit of a rush to get the pics up before it got too dark the car will be fully valeted over the coming days.

The last cam belt change was done on 26/03/13 (148590).

Thanks Andy, the chap has really looked after it and deserves a good home.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this on the M11 on a regular basis driven by a mature chap.

Does such a thing as a "mature chap" exist?  I thought we were all big kids!

This would be ideal for my lad but he is 18 and insurance is astronomical on such a motor when you are young.

GLWTS, I am sure it will sell easily.

Wow, that's some mileage, but it looks like it been serviced about once every 5 months. So around 500 miles a week.

More than likely Richard, he travels from Saffron Walden to Redbridge every day so a fair jog down the M11 and around the same time that you would be heading down there.

You'll soon notice a Fabia SE (I think you know the one  ;) ) as that is what he part ex'd it for.

James - insurance is a killer at the moment, try getting a car insured with an 'E' postcode  :wall:

Mike - the mileage is a tad  ;)  high but as you can see it has been serviced every 10k so is definitely well looked after, with the majority of this being up and down the M11 everyday

I'm sure someone will snap this up and ignore the mileage, if not I might have to raid the kids bank accounts  :bandit:  and have a toy. Thanks Richard
