Picked up the Elegance

Featured Replies

Well, after a bit of a wait finally took delivery of my Rapid 1.6CR Elegance Greentech in race blue.  Boggo standard.

Ordered early September.

Initial impressions are better than I was expecting.  I test drove an early SE and was disappointed by the interior although I liked the premise of the car.

The interior has improved vastly. The chrome / brushed inserts are a great addition.  The plastics feel far better quality. The seats seem more supportive, although I am not sure if this wishful thinking or if they have actually been changed.

Just wish the stereo had DAB..Its 2014!!!

The DAB is an optional extra (at least it is in CZ). It cost CZK 3000 (around £100) and I didn't feel it was worth it.

Mind you, I would have used the money I spent on the MDI for DAB if I had known the Apple's proprietary bull**** cable was incompatible

Looks nice... especially in race blue

I will just have to stick with a phone app for my dab needs for now.

Stupid Skoda should have offered race blue from the start!

Looks good!

Agreed. Although it was a bit of a worry choosing the "vrs" colour on a non vrs.

I have only spotted one other race blue rapido, seems pretty rare.

Love the Rapid in that colour!

Put the front and rear vRS badges on, go on you know you want to  ;)

I hope to upgrade my fabia to a rapid in your colour, health to enjoy
