Just been and ordered cambelt kit for my vrs including water pump, aux belt

 

Now i asked for the hydraulic tensioner thing aswell but apparently its part of cambelt kit but am sure last time i got it it wasn't,

 

But am sure kit was around 100 quid last time but its 130 this time

Whenever I've bought a cambelt kit in the past the tensioner has been included.

Not usually.  Just pulleys and belt.

Genuine kit does not include damper

Euro kit includes damper

according to ETKA the tensioner is not included in the OEM kit

Yeah genuine bits from dealer

Didnt do it last time so after 100k i would imagine its quiet knackered,

We will see what bits i have when i go pick them up then as he insisted it came with kit even after asking twice if he was sure it did as it didnt last time.
