I own a mk1 fabia and need help please.my car has developed a fault so I decided to plug in a code reader to see if any codes appear.i checked to see my code reader suited my car my car was said to have the ISO diagnostic port but on inspection the wires on the port do not match the web description.should have wires on slots 4 5 7 16 of the port mine has wires on 4 6 7 14 16 wires 6 14 are usually on the can ports so am in a bit of a pickles as code reader will not connect.any help much appreciated

What code reader are you trying to use?

Hi sorry for late reply.the scanner I used was just a basic reader it was a memoscan u480 I checked a web page to see what diagnostic port I had then got a scanner for that port
