Wind Noise from rear window

Featured Replies

HI can anyone help as this is driving me mad......

Or can you point me to a discussion that has already happened

Cheers

Andy

It will be the rear quarter lights. Put the rear windows down. Place either a coaster or piece of number plate in the gap and give it a tap with a hammer

HI thanks for this info greatly appreciated. I take it that this is a quick fix which is really good for now.

So to make sure i have this right. Take the rear window down, place coster etc where exactly ? between the glass and the outer body or glass and inner body of the door and hammer it downwards into the gap in the door... OR have i got it all wrong ?

Thanks

When the rear windows are down. There is the channel where the window runs, the black plastic strip between the two windows. Place coaster in the gap. Dont hammer down do it on the side so your hammering on the side of the coaster. Just dont hit it too hard incase you break the window
