Owner's Manual-

Featured Replies

I live in France, and I've waited over six months for my (French) supplying dealer to get me an English Owner's Manual for my Superb. If I call Skoda France, they just refer me back to the dealer.  I tried Skoda UK, and they did the same thing.  Can anyone suggest a way forward please?

I have downloaded the Skoda Manual App, gives me access to all the manuals. It's a free app, if that's a help.

Thanks guys.  Trouble with download is it's so terribly bulky - won't fit in glove compartment.  Better than nothing, but not as good as a proper handbook.  I'll try the link you suggested for skodaparts.

I have my Fabia and Octavia Owner's Manuals on my iPhone and iPad.

So how do I get my Superb's handbook onto my iPad, please?

If you download the free the skoda manual app from the apple App Store and you should get access to the manuals across the complete model range. They are not cut down versions, but full manuals.

You will need an app that can save pdf files on the iPad. That is the way it works in iOS. There is no folder file structure like you have on a computer. Documents and files are saved within apps that are compatible with those files for viewing and/or editting.

Download iBooks or Adobe Reader. Both apps are free. Save the pdf from the link above and then email the pdf to yourself to an email account you can access on your iPad.

In the received email tap and hold down on the pdf or on the pdf icon and a window will pop up with three options

Quick Look - tap that to open the file

Open in iBooks - tap that to open the pdf in iBooks where the file will be saved

Open In - tap that and you can select Adobe reader and the pdf will open and be saved.

As above. Download the manual - which is in pdf format - and open in iBooks assuming that you want to save it. I have done this for all sorts of manuals, instructions books, documents, bills and so on. These then sync between iPhone and iPad, but not MacBook as yet.

Thank you all so much for that advice. The Skoda parts website quoted me about £12 for a manual, but apparently can't deliver it to France.  Odd - my Auntie May, who's 93, can send things to France. . .

Anyway, I'll go down the technology route.  Thanks again,
