Window regulator skoda octavia mk 1 driver side

Hi I'm new here and need help !!!!! My window stopped working so I took the door card off and found that 1 of the wires has snapped off how do I fix this problem as can't seem to get at the regulator as it's behind the metal panel, is there a way I can access the regulator ?? Please help thanks in advance
