Little bit of background first.

October 2013, I had two new tyres fitted to the front.

Over Christmas the car was not used much, and I had to give the battery an overnight charge because it had trouble starting. That seemed to sort it.

After not being used over the weekend, this morning it struggled to start again but eventually fired into life for my 11mile journey to work.  I'd only gone about 300 yard and the steering started pulling to the right. Pulled into a convenient layby to investigate.  Front right tyre almost flat.  No worries, got a full sized spare. Changed the wheel without incident. Jumped back in to carry on to work.  Wouldn't start, or rather, wouldn't turn over, flat battery.  Luckily my son was just knocking off nights, so I rang to get the jump leads and come and help. The car started on the button once jumped from his Civic.

Car struggled to start again tonight, but it did.  I'd rung my garage to get me a battery and get the puncture fixed at 5-o-clock . Got there ok. Battery fitted fine. Tyre inflated to find leak. Bugga, staple in the tyre, right where the tread joins the side wall.  This is none-repairable.  Now got to have another new tyre on the front.

None in stock of course, so I've got to go back again tomorrow to have it sorted, and worst of all,  got to go to and from work tomorrow without a spare wheel.

Not a happy chap :@

Incidently, since the battery change, the one touch lecy window opening doesn't work anymore, got to hold the button now, any advice please?

Never rains but it pours

Windows .....wind all way down but dont release switch for 5 secs after reaching the bottom

wind up and hold for 5 again and walla !

All fixed !
