Time to start this thread

Confirmed build date, not going to move.

1.8TSI DSG hatch, Topaz Brown, loads of options (webasto, canton, heated windscreen, half-leather, ACC).

The 1.8TSI is by all accounts a superb engine, and mated to the DSG box it will provide a great mix of performance, refinement and fuel economy. Congrats.

My dealer has just confirmed that I'm accepted and on track for BW 5 too.  

Race Blue Elegance 150 TDI DSG, with Towbar prep, LED tail lights and spare wheel.

 

I'm expecting it'll be March 1st pick up.   If the shipping is fast enough, I guess it may be with the dealer in time for my birthday the week before.  Either way, I'm excited!

So after a long wait our cars are hopefully being built in the next few days (or have been already built)

I'm hoping to have mine mid-february.

It's coming on 17" wheels, and I've already ordered 16" winter set (Skoda 16 Illias wheels + Conti TS850). We had -16^C last week and I sooo wanted to have my new car with winter pack :(

Just had "the call". Now I'm officially excited.  Car being built this week at some point, might be being done right now!!  Dealer will "do his best" to make sure it's on a 14 plate - He better!!

 

vRS TDI DSG Estate in Candy White, Black Pack, Canton, Winter Pack, and probably more stuff I've forgotten about.  Ordered 28 Sept 13.

I missed a call from Skoda UK late this afternoon, The voicemail said it'll be at the dealers tomorrow.

I then called my dealers, who said they were going to call me in the morning about it. 

They've now left me with the big decision.  Get it as soon as PDI is completed, or collect it on my birthday in a couple of weeks.  They even were fine about me waiting till 1st of march, said it was all totally up to me.  What to do?! :think:
