twin exit exaust for furby?

Featured Replies

been pondering on the idea of a twin exit exaust for my furby.( both sides) what ya think of this? been lookin and it could go round the spare wheel, the hardest bit would be cutting the recess in the bumper. anyone done this or could anyone do a photoshop of it? cheers. what ya think?

the hardest bit would be cutting the recess in the bumper.

Get a spare vRS bumper, cut the recess out and stick it on the other side of your 2nd bumper and then fill, smooth and respray. OEM look for 2 exhausts!

I don't think I'd like the look though.

Something I would be looking to do if I had the money and patience, would look nice imo...

...But then thats important here, it's not going to be everyones taste, good luck

thats how i thought of doin it, think it might turn out expensive though??? :thumbdwn:

Probably just over 100 quid for the bumper (thats new - find one 2nd hand or salvage) stanley knife and filler wont be too bad. respray will be about 120 quid. That's 250, say, using new parts (and your existing bumper). Find some cheap bumpers (you only need the recess, so a smashed up one or scratched will be fine) and you'll be laughing away. Spray will be the most expensive part.

I'd love to do something like that, but just not my taste for my car. (sure it would look sweet though).

EDIT: if you have a rear shot I can Photoshop for you, but I have no pics here at work.

i think it would look good, maybe ask someone on here to do a quick photoshop effort to give an idea what its going to look like? :)

here is a rear shot of a fabia for you

cheers! mmmmmmm i dont know?? what ya think?

Not my type of thing, but it would look better with twin 'jet' exhausts from the Miltek system I think?

Logisitics of running exhaust to tuther side is tricky though. It runs in its normal position in a deep recess, so not sure how it would get out of that recess and down to the right hand side without stooping down too low.

Looks nice though.

I was thinking of this, price etc. I know a body shop that will be able to do the work, you'd have to have miltek design the exhaust system. I think its a great idea, i reckon your lookin at the best part of a grand though for a good job

IMO, It looks very "****" to coin a phrase. Not something I would consider.

Bloody Hell!

C_H_A_V is filtered!

It's a little **** but imagine the smokescreen from 4 tubes spraying out diesel smoke!

And rightly so, there was a point where you couldn't read a thread without that word in it :)

Hmmmm I dont know, I think you would need different style tail pipe to carry it off??

Just seems to me that every Saxo/Corsa/Punto/Clio owned by a young, baseball cap wearing lad has these twin exit pipes.

Sorry, not for me. A Porsche 911 Carrera 4 on the other hand................:D

i think of the rear pipe style was changed it would look better, std fabia pipe is a bit too big for 2 IMHO

but twin pipes are cool, he says as my car has them

Nice work!

I think it would look better if the pipes covered the whole space though, more like this...

I think it looks great however IMO the exhausts would look better if they were more spaced apart.

It looks like you are trying too hard. And it wont smoke. Or will it?

I think it would be better if it werent the OEM exhaust duplicated... Each to their own mind...
