Just a quick question.

 

Does a mk2 4x4 1.9 TDI have a DPF or not?

 

Is it the same for a pre-facelift and facelift car?

 

I'm fairly sure that no 1.9 ever came with a DPF on a Skoda, in the UK at least.

I believe it depends on the date of manufacture Sam.

 

The Euro 5 regs came in during the 1.9 TDI engine, so that's when they added the DPF.

Hence early mk2 cars not having them and later ones having them.

 

I'm not sure what the date is though, hopefully someone can confirm.

The 1.9 PD105 was never fitted with a DPF. It was only the 2.0 PD that was on the 4x4 and scout models.

It may be in that DB, possibly as a test only, as VW and Audi did sell the 1.9 with a DPF, but I doubt you will find one on the road.

As above, no Skoda 1.9 TDi was ever fitted with a DPF, including the 4x4.

 

However, the same engine fitted to a number of VW and Audi's did have a DPF fitted.
