Ordered my 170 DSG Elegance on Dec 23rd. Just heard I been given a week 7 build date (w/c 10th Feb). So looking like early March when I get my hands on it. Pretty quick I reckon.

Congrats let's hope snow doesn't slow things down this year like it did last.

Ditto except my order was for 140SE DSG and on 19/12/13.

Build week 9 for my 1.8 L&K,ordered 19/11/13.

There was a slight hiccup before Xmas when Skoda scrapped Shark blue.

Had call today from dealer today, my 170 Elegance, now confirmed build week 4. Looking at arriving at Dealers around third week of Feb. Should hopefully be able to pick it up early March. Happy days.

True. But assuming they have summer tyres like me, my 4x4 should be better. Particularly as mine will have new tyres with deep tread.

May invest in all season tyres in the future mind.

And when you hit the brakes, you're have exactly the same lack of control as any 2 wheel drive car! 4x4 doesn't help then... and the Yeti can be unpredictable on standard tyres in snow as some of us found out the hard way.   Winter or all season tyres are the only safe answer in snow.

I had a build week 2 and just looked on track my vehicle..........Arrived at UK port  

Mine was build week 2 too, and dealer just emailed she is in the country.

Been a long time coming, can't wait.

Double Ditto mine is booked in for build week 7..cant come soon enough for me as  just had to send my peugeot to car heaven....

So what's the best estimate of the likely pick-up date for a week 7 vehicle, then?  End of February for arrival in the UK, and mid-March for it to have reached the dealer and had its PDI?

I reckon w/c 3rd March is feasible. Or following week at the latest.
