Just working on a vin decoder and now coming to test some Skoda VIN's I have a problem.

 

I've resolved one of them, which was year encoding... too much staring at goats.

 

My biggest challenge is raw vin data, anyone know a good source of raw data.

 

By raw data I am not after a decoder, I've built one of those this evening. I'm looking to prime it with real data, so WMI codes and VDS data.

 

 

 

 

But to get to that the raw data is needed, which I'm typing for the moment to push on with UI design etc.

Ok I've paused work on this for the moment. I'll take a new approach and turn it to a crowd/wiki sourcing setup once I've cleared another dev item.
