vito drop links

Featured Replies

just ordered some prosport coilovers from dpm, and they said i will need merc vito drop links for them to fit? the vito ones look longer than the vrs ones. i cant really see the benefit, am i missing something? i dont intend to slam it to the ground, probably about -30mm. anyone else fitted the prosports and had any issues?

The easiest thing is to do a search on this buddy as its been discussed on here a lot. The Vito links are shorter than the vrs ones and are needed because the brackets on the pro sport coilovers have basically been welded too far down the body. No one is sure why this is. Maybe not intended to fit avrs but iI ddon't think they fit any other car either where they've put the bracket. They are fine with Vito links though.

That's why I bought the FK kit comes with drop links.

The Vito drop links are shorter than the standard VRS ones. You need drop links from a W638 Vito. There dead easy to get hold of and cheap too. Got mine from GSF

Reason they're needed is because of the different mounting position on the prosport kits.

the Vito ones match up.
