Recommendation For New Car Detail & Wax in Cambridgeshire

Featured Replies

I should at some point in the next 3 weeks or so (if the dealer is to be believed) be picking up my new Octavia VRS TDI (Race Blue anthracite geminis).

I have turned down the dealers auto-glym treatment for £250 but am thinking about getting a new car details and wax protection. I don't have the skill or time to do this properly myself. It seems from what I read there is a very wide gap in skill and quality from the providers of this service advertising on the internet.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good service in the Cambridgeshire, ideally in the Huntingdon/Cambridge area?

I'm afraid I don't have a name for you but this is exactly what I did and a much better way to spend £250 than the dealers 'treatment'.

Thank you Northampton easily doable from me.

+1 for Baker21. Did a superb job for me on my Fabia.

Didn't realise it was close geographically!

Another vote for `Simon (Baker21) he did my Superb 3 years ago when it was new, or dooka (as Simon also helps Rob out doing details with him)

you also have andy at world of detailing not to far away

simon and rob (dooka) are fantastic lads as well

Thanks again all.

Northampton about 40 mins from me, and my in-laws are about half way between me and there so can use them as a staging post. Once I've got the new car a nice 40 min run will be something to enjoy anyway!
