There are a number of threads concerning misting up in Octavias.  Much advice offered - most of it conflicting!  My Octavia is the worst car for misting up that I have owned in the last 15 years (5 cars).  Mists up more AND takes much longer to clear.

Mines had a fault logged with skoda for it, and it's being investigated. Hopefully will be resolved.

Mine mists up far too easily, but the front windscreen will clear very quickly. The rest of the windows do take longer to clear.

Cheers all (including penguins). I've been using the anti-mist Autoglym glass polish with out much noticeable effect. Now have 2 of these bad boys in to trial.

May well pop into Ridgeway today and see about getting some figures before deciding to move up to a MK3.

A little update on my fault being logged with skoda,

They finally found a fault with my "air quality sensor" (humidity) and it's been replaced.

Will pick the car up in the next few days and see if it's worked!
