Is it best to email or telephone when trying to get a deal on a box, who do I need to speak to. Through email i have corresponded with Ian and Ade.Neither have mentioned the prices quoted here, but I have not asked directly for such a large discount.

Paul.

I've got a comfort combi, with just a tuning box.

I was out late last night around the country lanes by my place ... jeeeesus, this car has more poke than the chassis can cope with!

I'll be removing the branches etc from my wing mirrors today

I e-mailed them and, as Stu says, they have an eBay "buy-it-now" price which is the lowest they would run to and that was about

I think they are currently

Is the Green Filter preferable to a K&N ? Thanks. HTB

I think so, the result is basically the same but IIRC we have had no problems with MAF failures with the Green filter. The K&N filter will be lightly oiled and could lead to MAF failure.

Or a Jetex air filter? good prices and excellent customer services.

No assoc etc, just satisfied customer

Have you got a link for them and where they can be bought from? :D

Chris

Is it worth getting a green filter for my 2.0l petrol Fabia ?

Wel, I have the 2.0 and putting in a K&N filter made quite a difference to performance, especially the throttle response.

Hi

You will find that it is the Green Cotton that is lighter with the oil.

K & N are the ones that can ne a bit heavy with the oil.

We stock and sell the Green Cotton as we believe thay are VERY good.

But we cannot match that price.

This is due to the amount that we buy.

DT have loads of outlets so can afford to but huge quantities of them , so getting a bigger discount.

We are just 1 garage and cannot afford thousands of pounds on filters like what they can.

But we do sponsor Briskoda ;)

Sarah

Just for the record - and I'm not sniping - Demon Tweeks are just one outlet too... albeit on a larger scale. I realise that they buy in larger quantities and therefore can negotiate a better cost price, but I was just setting the record straight. :)

Oh NO

Dont woory , no I didnt take it as that.

Hope you dont think I was too.

Just had to justify to you all why we cannot match that.

But you see the people on the forum if they knew could help us.

Costs more , but we are more helpfull...;)

Sarah

I agree... I often spend a little more on my AV equipment as I get it from a local dealer who gives decent advice, proper support and is there for any problems. :) Other dealers - who are cheaper - don't get my business, as they're useless with everything else.

I'd quite happily use yourselves and I may be soon for numerous things... ;)

We do offer support to all pur customers and on the forums.

But all this does cost too.

There is my wages too ( but it`s not that much ;) )

But we do like to be part of the forums.

Keep up the good work and support us too.

Sarah

I will...

Awwww....see the love...

Yes ...so?

You know I am right.

I am here for you guys and gals.

Anyway DT are not as sweet as me.
