Hello all I'm after a bit of advice here.

I'm looking at putting some LED bulbs into my 2012 vRS on the reg plate, interior and sidelights and I got warned by my friend it might throw an error report up as it did on his polo for his reg plate I think he said

My questions are

1) Is there any ones you can fit in that don't throw an error code up (and if so any links to them)

2) If they do throw an error report what is the way round it?

The number plate bulbs can be coded out and the inside ones aren't checked. The so called canbus friendly ones still need coding on Skoda's.

Is that for reg plate and side lights? Cheers for the info

There is another thread on the forum covering the issues seen with the Reg Plate LED's.

Some dates seemed to be unable to code this out but as i recall 2012 may be ok....

 

Interiors are all simple enough. 

 

On the Sidelights - aren't they disabled, replaced with the DRL's?

I could be wrong but I have the option of disabling my DRL's and this allows me to turn sidelights on. I'm sure they work with DRL's on?

I take it back sidelights don't work with DRL's

Your side lights are the drl's! Just dimmed.

The conventional side lights have lamps fitted but are not wired.

Think it can be coded to have tail lights on with DRLs but you need access to vcds
