Front Parking Sensors retrofit to existing Reverse.

okay, massively confusing ;)

Can i just clarify some things so i have it straight in my head:

if i buy newer PDC Unit 1Z0 919 475C.

I'm guessing that the unit can be accessed with either address 10 or 76(ops) Or do newer PDC units only work on address 76, which will require can-bus upgrade.

assuming it can be contacted on address 10, i just need to buy the stuff listed by Eddie.

Can I mix the sensors, have the old 27mm sensors on the rear and put the newer sensors on the front as i will be drilling holes for those mounts, if i have to replace them it means a new bumper and respray and starts getting a little silly.

finding someone breaking a MK2 with front sensor loom and cabling will be unlikely i suspect.

Thanks for your patience on this :)

The old PDC was 76, the new is 10.

EDIT: Post corrected as info was round the wrong way.

Okay, hence eddies comment about getting one from someone breaking an older one, gotcha. thanks :)

Old type made by Bosch is Address 76

Newer ones are Address 10 and made by Valeo

before you buy anything I would suggest you find out what one you have now
