Welcome.

I won't try and make specific diagnoses about a car some 8_000 miles from me, but will ask some general questions.

Did you have to top up the oil between getting the car and the service? VAG say that it is acceptable for their cars to use up to 1l every 1_500km.

Did you check the oil level before the service, to know what sort of consumption (if any) it had?

Welcome Wiemengguang,

The oil does not look to me as if there is fresh oil feeding it  as in a leak but more than likely as if some was spilt from a top up some time ago. Just my opinion.

Welcome from me too. I have the same engine in my Octavia II and it is absolutely clean with no sign of oil leaking anywhere. if I owned tour car I would clean the oil off using a chemical cleaner and check from time to time to see if there is a fresh leak.

Thanks for all of your answers?

in china, the first service is free. They told me that i should take the first service at 5000km, therefore, i went to the skoda service station.i should`t suspect my new car would appear those problems at all. But,when my car was put up by crossing lift, i found what my photos had showed, i was suprised.i could`t accept their explain, because my car is new, it should`t appear any leak. Before that,i didn`t top up oil.

IN the superb manual, there are really what you said(VAG say that it is acceptable for their cars to use up to 1l every 1_500km), but my polo (2006) didn`t appear this problemat all times , it also is VW series, though it had be drived 160,000km.

If you have looked at all the leakout that i provid, you will find that this problem is very generally in all EA888 engine in china. The chinese consumers are very angry for those.

By the way, i will say that my car will be taken the third service, it had run 16000km. I had to top up 1 liter oil every 3000km, because when i check the oil level , it had be lower than the min. sometimes i even could`t see the oil level on the oil rule

Are the engines manufactured in China or imported from Europe?

the engines are manufactured in China

OK, so it is a local manufacturing and quality control issue. You really should check the engine oil level far more often. The UK Owner's Manual recommends checking the oil level regularly preferably after the car is refuelled and after driving for long stretches (long journeys).
