Boot Floor with Rails and Partition System vs Variable Boot Floor. What's the difference?

Featured Replies

I've been staring at these in the brochure and configurator to try and understand the difference.

From the pictures, it looks like the former raises the floor just enough to lose the step by the back seats, plus the rails and partition.  The latter seems to provide an adjustable hight floor which can actually extend out over the rear bumper.

Has anyone got either and can confirm or deny the above?

Thanks

Hi!

Well, I actually got both ... ;-)

The rails are far out to the sides and just inside of them I have the variable height floor so you don't really have to chose either one ...

Normally I have the insert floor mounted in its upper level and use the stretch band to secure a plastic box to the side. Didn't think I would care much about it from the start but now I find it really conveniant. I have yet to find a reason not to have the insert floor mounted ... and yes, it evens out the floor compared to the folded back rests pretty well but not completely, it does not extend out over the rear bumper though, at least not the version I have ...

Good luck configuring your new ride!
