Porsche Twists

Featured Replies

Just thought id see what your opinions are on Porsche twists on here, have bought a set and picking them up on sunday. The specs are:

17''

7.5J et55

9J et50

20mm adaptors

They are painted in fiat campavolo grey (just off white)

How do you think these will sit? Too wide? Just right? From what ive worked out I think they will sit just right but depends on personal preference.

Will put some pictures on here as soon as I get chance to test fit them but they wont get a proper run out till UD!

9j et30 may catch the inside arch on the rear and 7.5j et35 will tuck in abit on the front but will clear your struts with ease. They look well on a fabia though but never seen them done in the spec you have. Look forward to seeing the pics and at ud.

Looking forward to pictures! :)

They look good on my boxster !

Yeah the rears are what im worried about to be honest mate, but I can always get some different adaptors.

ill upload pictures as soon as I test fit them! Should look good!

doubt you will see me at UD as we have left it too late to be able to show like last year so it will just be used as transport to get their! :)

Get there early enough and you can get a good spot in the carpark to the side. I had a nosey around there last year and was some nicer cars there than in some of the club displays.

For a Fabia, I thought most members would buy four wheels from the same Porsche Axle (usually front) from two cars to avoid the issue of the rears being wider than the front. 9J is VERY wide.

Depends what look you go for, lots run staggered size on here. Few have fitted 9j on the rear now but needed arch work.

The staggered look is exactly what im looking for too be honest!

Getting excited to go pick them up, its payday and the money for these wheels is itching to be spent!

Got these home on sunday and am very happy with them, a bit of work is needed to get the rears sitting exactly how i want but it shouldnt be too much work at all! More stretch and slightly smaller adaptors are needed but that should sort it, and obviously it needs to be lower ;)

Pretty sure i ran 35mm adaptors upfront and 20mm rear

genuine look so much better than my reps

They look good! I would have got the shallower ones if a set had come up at the right price. But this set were a price i really couldn't miss. The fitment on yours looks about spot on aswell!
