Hi guys. Ive been to look at 4 vrs and they both seem not to work and stuck in the middle of the rear window is this a common fault or just a freak of luck. 

Popular fault... in my case just lack of lubricant inside the unit, the motor was fine... , the rear trim is difficult to re fit and you need a puller to get the wiper arm from the  motor shaft... search the forum for loads of ideas and fixes
