Brakelight... smoked?

Now that I successfully fitted my dectane smoked leds, I was wondering if there's someone around who has the brakelight (the strip above the rear glass, don't know how to call exactly..) smoked.

 

Is it possible to buy it?

If not, it's a good idea to black-smoke that with some spray like this one?

Will I get good result? Will the paint last or not?

I had my whole lenses and rear reflectors. Took off as it looked cool but seriously impeded the light so took off.That was on Octavia

The high level LED brake light on the hatchback shines through the rear screen.

 

I've never understood why you'd want to deliberately reduce the brightness of your rear lights.

the high level brake light gives drivers further behind advance warning that you may have stop or there an accident ahead and makes a big difference on the motorway especially when you have to stop very quickly, so it's up to you if you want to take the risk.

He has a an estate. I think they look cooler but it wasn't until I went in convoy to the midlands meet with Auric Gold finger that I reaised just how much reflective light is cut. He has led rears though ( Dectane
