Can anyone tell me the specification for DSG gear box oil/fluid for a 2007 Octavia?

I don't know the spec, however I would only use the OEM stuff anyway. There are some threads that suggest that the DSG box is very picky about the oil, therefore I would not want to be taking chances with an expensive repair bill. You can get 6L of genuine oil and a filter for less than £100 on ebay or you could try your nearest TPS outlet.

To the OP.....don't even consider putting anything other that the above VAG oil into the transmission.
