2005 mk1 fabia VRS cat C damaged

Featured Replies

Selling on behalf of a friend

2005 black fabia vrs 1.9 diesel. Car was hit while parked up by an unsupervised provisional driver

Was wrote off cat C by insurance so will need to be VIC tested etc... Damage is to the nearside sills, both doors and the rear arch.

Ideal car for someone wanting to repair it or wanting the goodies on it. Car was running 213bhp. Forge front mount, full milltek exhaust, pd160 intake. Please note that the turbo has been sold seperately. Engine and gearbox just turned 120000 miles

Please be aware that you will probably need to trailer this car away.

Price is £1500

Ideally the car wants to be sold as a whole but if it doesnt sell then it might be broken. Please dont flood this thread with offers for parts if it does get broken.

Price again £1500

Car is in rochdale near manchester. Just 2mins from junction 20 M62

Best off breaking bud

You won't get anywhere near that for what it is and without turbo it's not worth much.

Appeciate your input clive but its not my motor. Hes been offered 1500 but it seems to be off messers. If it doesnt sell then it might be broken

If he does decide to break it, please contact me as I will take a considerable number of parts.

Cheers

So, the turbo's been removed and sold, so is it therefore a non runner requiring a new turbo?

Yes it will need a new turbo

Shame, tell ya mate £1,000 and I'll collect on the weekend!

Been a few offers of £1000 been turned down already

No bother, can't see it being worth much more tbh. A crash damaged non runner missing vital parts will be hard to pass on!

Good luck all the same :)

1k is a good offer imo. With the turbo replaced and damage sorted you'd be close to having 1800-1900 in the car and being a cat c its at its money there.

Agree with Clive. To get your money out of it he'd be better breaking.

Been plenty of messages about parts from the car anyway so it probably will be broken. I think the owner wanted to sell it as a whole to someone wanting a mass of parts

You know the bits I'm after :) potentially other bits too.

Due to a huge demand for parts off this car the owner has decided to break it. A few people on here and on social media sites have laid claim to parts already so i will contact you in a few days.

I will start a breaking thread in the next few days, in the meantime please dont bombard with PM's lol

Please get them to sign up to freedom if parts are being advertised on this site, thanks.
