One under each

From what I can tell, they both have a control unit under each seat. The drivers side has two multiplugs under the seat and the passenger has one.

I didn't notice on the other plug but I think it's green and has four pins that control the heated seat.

Ok mate nice one. Think I'll just use the golf switches then lol

Depends, some of the new passats have the same switches as the Fabia (1 to 5 scroll) so if the golf is the same, should be simple!

I only know as I've had mine apart today and only noticed how simple the design is.

The golf ones are 1-5 scrollers too, they're just alot bigger than the fabia ones. But from what I understand, the golf switches have the control module built into them, so using them should save me having to source two fabia modules.
