53 Plate Fabia vRS - Long Tax and MOT

Featured Replies

Up for sale is my 53 plate Fabia vRS in metallic Black.

I purchased this recently from a member on here, with a view to using it for track days like I did with my previous vRS. However I have bought a BMW with a friend which I am going to trailer to events, therefore I need a car which I can tow with. You cannot do this with a Fabia unfortunately. As stated it is my second vRS and it drives better than my previous, lower mileage one. The car has done just shy of 130,000 miles, with the cambelt and waterpump changed for genuine parts in 2012 with receipts.

It has stamped history to 70,000 miles, then I have a folder full of receipts for various service parts.

It has been well maintained, the previous two owners were Briskoda members I believe.

Recent work includes, genuine droplinks, front pads and two rear calipers.

The previous owner also informed me that the front anti roll bar and bushes had been changed - A common problem as the collars crack allowing the anti roll bar to move.

When I checked underneath I noticed the console bushes had been changed for the newer X type, an expensive job which will not need doing any time soon.

The wheels have been painted in anthracite, they are in reasonably good condition, there have been one or two chips which have been touched in. The tyres are good, the rears are Uniroyal Rainsports with lots of tread, the fronts are Cooper Xeons with around 3mm.

It is stage one mapped and it pulls as strongly as my previous Fabia. The power delivery is smooth and it is not smokey at all.

The interior is in immaculate condition, the previous owner was an upholsterer and replaced the foam in the base of the drivers seat, so it is very comfortable. There are no rips or tears.

Bad points:

The bodywork has a few light scratches as expected with the age and mileage, there is a dent in the rear quarter panel where it meets the bumper however it really does not stand out. It polishes up nicely.

I have been to London and back in the car and it hasn't missed a beat.

The car has MOT until: 20/10/14

Tax until: 31/7/14

It is fully HPI clear. I have both keys and the full V5 in my name.

Any questions call/text on 07833087858. If I do not answer please leave a message and I will call back after work.

The car is located in West Bromwich

Not far from M5 J1.

Price is £2450.

I'd be up for p/x with a Passat Highline, A4/A6 Tdi, Volvo S60 D5 :)
