Yeti deals

Featured Replies

Hi all,

We were planning on swapping SWMBOs mk2 Fabia vRS hatch for a new estate vRS but it's quite tricky to find a decent deal out there at the moment. This has got us thinking about the Yeti as another option (all be it very different).

Is anybody getting any decent dealer discounts at the moment?

Are the factory lead-times as long as I fear? Anyone know if there are ever many 'stock' yetis available on the system rather than speccing a new order from scratch

Tom

Depends what you have in mind as a decent discount? Which model are you looking at?

Lead times; 16 weeks seems to be the wait currently being mentioned. I'm not aware of many FLs on the system as 'stock'. There are some 'Adventure' models available I know, which are the run-out special edition of the pre-FL.

Also, check http://www.carwow.co.uk and get some dealer pricing that way too.

My father just traded his 06 Passat Estate S TDI 140 DSG for 4k and got an order in for a YETI 1.2 SE TSI DSG 2014 new look/spec model for £16,700 (before trade in offset)

He took the lease/buy 4 yr option as he is coming up nearly 80 otherwise in the past he might have gone recent S/H, the dealerI believe offered he could have had a very recent top spec S/H 2.0 TDI 4x4 model for £17k

Delivery near end of Feb.

Ah that doesn't seem to bad for a lead time.

Quite fancy a 1.2Tsi DSG Elegance. Will have a word with the stealers this week.

Remember 1.2 models dont come with 4 wheel drive though, its not an available spec.

Yeah saw that on the online configurator. For SWMBOs general runabout use I don't think it would matter too much tbh. My only concern is that she would find it very sloooow compared to her current vRS. Only a test drive will tell! Local dealer has a pre-FL 140tdi 4x4 in the showroom so might enquire about a deal on that too :-)

Is it just me on the configurator, or can you not spec a Yeti beyond a 2.0 CR110 Elegance?

I think that's the city yeti. If you configure the 'outdoor' version it contains the higher spec and more powerful versions.

Nope, was never interested in the City, so this is for the Outdoor.

Must be just you afterall then dude - I can spec the full range on the configurator using my iPad.

Strange, ah well I've worked out the details without using it :)

But If you're interested in the run-out Adventure model, the 2.0 TDI CR110 I have some interesting info for you on pricing

That adventure looks good value! Is it available with DSG tho? SWMBO is a DSG-only person :-)

Manuals I think but you'd need to confirm. Drop me a PM with an email address and I'll send some deal info over.
