Skoda Felicia pick-up 1998.

 

I left my lights on - got flat battery.  Bought new battery.  New battery intermittently buzzes even when key not in ignition and parking light and battery light on dashboard seem to be faintly on.  Skoda is booked in for  service next week, but in the meantime is there anything I could try? 

 

P.S. When I took the old battery out,  I left the bonnet up and it rained, so wires could be wet, could that be anything to do with it.

 

For now, I have disconnected the battery.  Thanks

I have found the solution to my problem.  Rain has saturated the workings.

 

I opened my fuse box and it was wet. Spent an hour trying to dry wires and fuses.  Will it be okay when dried out?

So the other-halves hair-drier did the trick of drying-out things. 

Well lets hope you close the bonnet next time..just a precaution, you silly billy.
