How long?

Featured Replies

One of the Guys i work with put his Order in yesterday For a VRS hatch with a Few Extras and was then told expect to See it in December!!!!. It's a Skoda he Said to the salesman Not a chuffing Bentley.

A wait of Ten months Or so Seems excessive Or is that just me !!!.

On average it's been about 5 months, however skoda will not like to commit to any timescales with all the delays they're facing.

They've probably just taken the approach of give them (the customer) a massive lead time and then adjust as necessary. They'll also look good of they can bring the delivery date forward.

Mine has been 4months in reality,it was my choice backed up by my dealer to wait the extra month till march, tbh I wish I hadnt bothered now, this last month of waiting is going to feel like a year

I've waited 7 months for mine. I'm told to expect it next week.

3 months in and no sign of a 1.4TSI DSG Elegance...ordered week 45, latest update provisional build week of 10, with delivery about week 13..which would make it about 21 weeks or just above 5 months...

Trekster, that not good, I ordered a 1.4TSI DSG Elegance on the the 28th December, its being built next week so, I should have it 1st of March or, 9 weeks total.

Did you order a shedload of extras ?.

Damn that sounds nice :-)

I did..well for a danish built car, i've since been told it was partly due to the lane assist. I was forced to choose it because it was a part of a package that Skoda DK had offered at a favorable price. Nothing to do but wait. However i can't help but feel i'm part of the big Skoda lottery as some of the other orders(later than mine) have been delivered in Denmark aswell(and having lane assist)..

Oh yeah, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise, heated screen on TSI they'll all get a third class ticket in the "After VW & Audi have finished with it Parts Bin Lottery"

I only went for crew protect, boot net & a spare, the crew protect keeps the kids safe, the boot net stops the mother-in-law rolling around too much and the spare well, thats just common sense really.

Good luck to you, I know you'll enjoy it when you finally get it.

I know you're taking the P155 about it being a Skoda not a Bentley, but my Dad has a Bentley Continental GT and from point of ordered it took two years to come.
