Removed the 4 day old Euro parts thermostat (circolli) earlier, placed it in a bowl and slowly poured boiling water on it. And guess what mate......... Lol

 

It didn't budge! Didn't even open 1mm!! :-/

 

So fitted oem stat that cost 28 quid :-o (I nearly fell over yesterday as I took 20 quid thinking that would cover it) good thing my friend was with me. Anyway, problem solved, bottom hose nice  fans come in and go off when needed happy days. Nice one :-) 

 

Now to do 50 trouble free miles haha

My 'Topran' one lasted for 6 months from GSF.  Fitted an OEM one, been fine since.

Cntuning i always read it c**truning :/

I used to use ecp about 15 years ago for my merc300 - They were rubbish then, get genuine or branded parts (brakes etc)

Going to look for that reg now lol
