What can u get out of a stage one remap?

When I brought my car I had stage one on it already but when it was rolling road it put out 190, but the guy said it was a old map and a newer map they culd get more but I have changed a bit since, air box mod and new side mount cooler, any ideas guys

around the 210 mark minws at 212 but gonna get a shark map on it soon

Anywhere between 200 and 220 i believe. Depends on the car, the mapper, the mods etc....

Your car should drive similar to mine with a good stage 1 map. My stage 2 is similar to stage 1 lower down the rev range but has more top end.

190 is very poor.  Mine was like night and day after a remap, and thats one which is 6 years old.

 

Is it a 'chip' or a proper ECU remap?

I think it's an old chip that's why last people I see said they would change it for a new one! But who a good person to go to for a good stage one

Rob at W8 performance is in Tonbridge he can do a Shark stage 1 map or indeed stage 2 if you want.
